About Us

IIT Pokerbots is the ultimate pan-IIT algorithmic poker and strategy competition focused on probabilistic reasoning, game theory, and algorithmic decision-making. Teams design and deploy fully autonomous pokerbots that compete against one another in a custom poker variant, simulating strategic decision-making under uncertainty.

We bring together the brightest minds to design and build autonomous poker-playing bots. Whether you are a seasoned poker player or just starting out, this is your chance to test your skills, develop algorithmic strategies and compete for glory. The event aims to promote interest in card-based strategic games and foster a community of innovators who are passionate about game theory, algorithmic design and programming!
